Introducing the outdoors to the next generation.

We cater to individuals of all ages and abilities. Our curriculum-linked activities can be customized to meet your specific needs. Feel free to email or call us to discuss your requirements and desired outcomes.

If you're interested in including an activity module for your school’s enrichment term, please reach out, and we can collaborate to create a module that allows your students to feel a sense of achievement. For example, we offer a full term beginners' archery course ending with various certificates and achievements.

We also offer additional activity courses, such as Stand Up Paddleboarding, Water Rescue and Safety Training, and Beginners Caving and Tunnelling, which include a rescue scenario at the end of the module.

School Outreach Programme at OUR location

This is where we run activities for your students over a number of weeks at our location (BS311TS Avon Valley Farm), during the weekdays. We can help with your outdoor activities requirements

Our cost would be £15+vat per person for 1 activity, or £20+vat for two activities.

For up to three activities. Please contact us directly to discuss options and schedules.

Activities are 1 hour per activity. Minimum 8 per group.

We can provide more activities:

Battle archery (Capacity 45 all in one group) Shooting each other with bows and safe arrows in a paintball style game scenario.
Target Archery (Capacity 16 max group) Learning how to shoot a bow and arrow with ArcheryGB instructors. Helping them become a proficient archer at the end of their term
Axe throwing (using our training tools (not sharp) and learning about how to throw in a safe environment and see who is number 1), (Capacity 12 per group).
Safe Archery (Capacity.20 at a time) Learning to shoot static targets, learning instinctive archery.
Air Rifles (Capacity. 8 - 16 per group) Our Range Officers will help guide your group to shoot at our targets with precision and accuracy. They will also learn more about the rifle and how to adjust the aim.
Indoor caving and tunneling (Artificial Caving) (Capacity. 10 per group) Explore our artificial cave and challenge them in a safe environment.
Canoeing (Capacity.14) River trip with our qualified instructors, learning about the local wildlife and why we need to look after it. Can also include river cleans as part of the activity.
Kayaking (Capacity.7) River trip with our qualified instructors, learning about the local wildlife and why we need to look after it. Can also include river cleans as part of the activity.
Nerf Battles (Cap.10 per group, but can increase if demand is requested). A mini battle royale between friends and even the teachers.
Wildlife Quiz - learning about wildlife, inspecting skulls, feathers, stick insects and more (Cap. 12 per group).

At Our location BA35SD Vobster Quays, Upper Vobster, Radstock

Our cost would be £20+vat per person for stand up paddleboarding activity. For small groups, the activity will last up to 90 minutes, but realistically, around an hour on the water. For larger groups, the session can last between 2-2.5 hours.

Stand Up Paddleboarding (At our Radstock site for 8 years+ Up to 30 people at a time) Learning how to paddle, enjoy challenges and having fun on a freshwater lake

At your location (Mobile event):

Our cost would be £18+vat per person per activity,
Minimum 12 per group + Travel Fee (£0.45p per mile, round trip from BS311TS Avon Valley Farm).
Each activity would last between 60-90 minutes depending on the group size.

We can provide a number of activities which the students can participate in at your location:

Axe throwing (using our training tools (not sharp) and learning about how to throw in a safe environment and see who is number 1), (60 minutes)
Target Archery, (60-90 minutes)
Safe Archery (shooting safe arrows at static targets), (90 minutes)
Battle Archery (shooting safe arrows in a paintball style game scenario), (90 minutes)

Mobile Sessions (One off Activity Days Sessions)

(This is where we turn up for a single large event ranging from 30+ participants.)

Mobile events for ONE activity is £600+VAT+Travel
Mobile events for TWO activities is £800+vat+Travel
Safe Archery activity is £400+vat+Travel·
Travel Fee is £0.45p per mile round trip from BS311TS Avon Valley Farm aka UK Active Outdoors Ltd

Details on Mobile events (10+) at local schools

We can run Battle Archery, Target Archery, Safe Archery and Axe Throwing at this point in time.
We will require the landowner’s or school’s permission, assess the grounds to ensure we can operate at the location.
A deposit or full payment is required to secure the booking.
Our Insurance and Risk Assessments are sent to the landowner for their review.

Sessions schedule
It will take us up to an hour to set up. We will get everyone kitted up with safety gear and then move onto the intro and safety briefing.

We will run the session, minimum 2 hours. When we finish, this will take us about an hour to pack everything away and we will leave little trace we were there.

Overall, we can be on site up to 6-8 hours.
